What is Squirting? | Female Ejaculation or Sex Squirt

Hey everyone, I’m Jess Wilde and you’re watching the Lovehoney YouTube channel The place where we talk about sex (and sex toys) so that when you shop at the Lovehoney website you know what the heck you’re doin’! Today we are talking about squirting! Now before I get started, if you’re somebody who likes videos about sex and sex toys please subscribe to the Lovehoney channel. We post a new video every single Friday and if you subscribe you’ll never miss one! Now what is squirting?

Firstly, it IS a real thing and people CAN do it. It is not limited to porn and it is NOT pee. Just to get that out there: squirting is not pee. Lots of people can squirt during sex and masturbation and they’re not peeing the bed ding-ding-ding Squirting is the involuntary release of fluids during firm intimate stimulation. Sexperts are still trying to figure out what the fluid is and why it occurs but tests are now being done to figure all of this out.

So what do we know? Well the fluid is released through the urethra and passes through the bladder. This means that when we test this fluid there is a small amount of urine in amongst the fluid however it’s a trace element. In amongst that there’s also some glucose and sometimes there’s prostatic fluid.

Yes, prostatic. Don’t be confused by the prostate it’s a little bit different in a woman often called the ‘Skenes Gland’ we won’t go into an anatomy class right now. The prostatic fluid is only present if the person who squirted has also climaxed at the same time…https://www.romancescams.org/dating-apps/best-poly-dating-sites-apps/ Which brings me on to my next point… squirting can happen with or without a climax. Squirting is often mistakenly referred to as female ejaculation but that is actually something entirely different.

Female ejaculation occurs at the point of climax and is released by that skenes gland. It’s a milky white fluid and as I said it only happens when somebody climaxes. Much the same as male ejaculation. Whereas, as I said earlier, squirting is this involuntary response to firm stimulation and it can happen with a climax without a climax or at the same time.

The prostatic fluid is only present if the person who squirted has also climaxed at the same time… Which brings me on to my next point… squirting can happen with or without a climax.

So if squirting isn’t directly linked to climax why would you want to do it? Well beyond the fact that, like I said, it’s involuntary and sometimes it can just happen by accident, people who can squirt report that if they climax at the same time, their climaxes feel longer and overall more satisfying. Not only that but your body producing so much liquid works as a great lubricant for any subsequent play that’s going to follow Plus experimenting with your body’s abilities is always fun and this is a really safe way that you can push your body’s boundaries.

Not to mention it’s a great excuse to buy new towels! So, what the hell is squirting? Squirting as I’ve said is the result of firm intimate stimulation and most people who can squirt say that it’s G-spot stimulation that results in the most reliable squirting. Some people also say that firm clitoral stimulation does it for them but we tend to find most people say it’s the G-spot that is the key to squirting.

Often a firm sex toy made of something like glass or metal is the key to unlocking squirting. A lot of people say that a penis during sex or a finger just can’t quite provide the firm enough stimulation just where you need it but that’s not to say that it’s not possible we’ll cover that in a different video Now it’s this persistent firm massage of the G-spot the results in this build-up of fluid in the bladder and at some point those muscles relax and release that fluid. Sometimes there’s a lot sometimes there’s a little.

How much fluid there is is not directly linked to how much pleasure you’re experiencing. It just depends when for you those muscles relax. As well as firm stimulation it is important to remember that mental relaxation and being comfortable are really key to being able to squirt.

Those muscles won’t relax if you’re feeling mentally tense or if you’re not quite in a comfy position so those things are really important too Now things to remember especially for any couples out there who are trying to explore squirting together: If your partner squirts it doesn’t necessarily mean they’ve climaxed. A lot of people say that once they’ve squirted their partner’s stop stimulating them thinking that they’ve orgasms but remember these things can happen separately so that might not necessarily be the case. And in the same vein if they don’t squirt it doesn’t mean they haven’t orgasmed and had a great time.

A lot of people tend to sort of want to push for this squirt thinking that your partner hasn’t climaxed until they’ve squirted. Again not the case! These are totally separate things.

The best thing to do is check in and ask! Also if you or your partner has squirted before remember that it might not happen again Sometimes it’s just this perfect line up of sort of being relaxed having that great stimulation that results in a squirting crescendo at one point but it doesn’t mean that it’s going to be a consistent thing that happens every time you play or play together. Remember, whilst everybody with a vulva has all the right anatomy to be able to squirt not everybody can squirt.

You might be able to squirt with one partner and not another and you might be able to squirt one time and not another. Just remember that squirting is not directly related to how sexy you are or how much of a woman you are. Something I hear quite a lot is “oh I’m not a complete woman if I can’t squirt” Let’s throw that in the bin.

It is not the case. Squirting is not directly related to your sexual abilities. Something else to note for those of you out there who have squirted or you may achieve squirting in the future is you can expect to feel quite drained afterwards (literally drained) This is really common and it’s quite similar to how men often report they feel after ejaculation. You’ll probably want to just go straight to sleep that’s perfectly normal and it’s just a result of having a full-body orgasm If you climax it at the same time.

Also remember you’ve just lost a lot of liquid so it’s really important to hydrate after play so just make sure you have a big glass of water before you fall asleep. Hopefully that’s answered some of your questions as to what squirting is and dispelled some of the myths around it. If you’d like to learn how to try and squirt come back next week where I’ll be doing part two: “how to squirt” Thanks for watching everybody yet again please do remember to subscribe to the channel if you enjoy these videos if you liked this video give us a thumbs up just let me know you like what I’m doing and if you really loved it why not watch another video there should be another one lining up on your screen right now Thanks again guys.
